The Brahma Temple is the major one, only one in this world dedicated to Brahma, the Hindu God of creation. The temple is located on a high plinth and there are marble steps, which lead to the temple. There is a silver turtle on the floor and faces the “ garbha-griha’ or the sanctum-sanctorum. There are silver coins embedded in the floor. The walls are adorned with peacocks, the vehicle or “vahana” of Saraswati, Brahma’s consort.
